What do you do when you are afraid? Here are some helpful keys. Firstly, it helps to be honest and admit to ourselves that we are afraid. Secondly, it helps to make the best and most objective informed risk assessment that we can. Being finite beings with limited knowledge and access to information, this step is not always easy. Thankfully, we have access, through the Cross of Christ, to One who knows all. If we look to Him, He will show us what we need to see, and guide us step-by-step in how best to respond. The threat may remain, but His word will bring a deep security to our heart, and being properly informed and directed, we may then take the third step - right action.
