The implicit message of the Bible

The Bible is an amazing book, or rather series of books. Written by many different writers over different time periods, it tells the story of redemption and restoration. This is the most needed message ever, as it brings light into a dark world, showing a way in which all may escape from the bondage of sin and death in a living relationship with God made possible through the Cross of Christ. But this central message is not the Bible's only message, for these inspired books also contain an implied psychology. We might call this God's perspective on experience and behaviour. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you more about yourself and others as you read and study the scriptures. It's one thing to read the Bible; it's another thing to let the Bible read you!
