Recent research at the University of Glasgow has shown that we can detect light passing through the entire human head, a finding that may have valuable implications for the development of future neuroimaging methods. Currently our brain imaging is limited only to the outermost layers of the brain, but this discovery could enable the development of low cost, highly portable imaging devices that can gather data from much deeper regions. The Bible says
in Psalm 139 that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made”. How true that is. Let us acknowledge the greatness of the Divine design and reject crazy ideas that somehow these complexities just grew of themselves!
